Justin is a creative director and television director with significant experience in the production and development of live stage shows, live shows for television and television formats. He has worked in twenty countries on shows of every scale.
He is currently creative directing Dancing With the Stars, American Idol and recently completed production on the first season of World’s Got Talent for Hunan Television in China and the finale of NBC's Bring the Funny. Previously, he was the creative director on both seasons of Fox’s The Four and served as supervising producer (creative) across six seasons of America’s Got Talent.
As a multi-camera director for television shows, Justin directed Red Bull's Soapbox Races in Cincinnati, Red Bull's Flugtag in Boston, Nashville and Pittsburgh (Red Bull TV) and the World Mixed Martial Arts Awards 2016 - 2019 (Fox Sports).
Recently awarded a spot in NBC’s Alternative Director's Program, he was given the opportunity to learn from the directors of NBC’s leading formats, plus direct segments of The Titan Games and World of Dance.
Justin has fifteen years of production supervision and professional stage management under his belt, he led teams for Franco Dragone for 10 years (Le Rêve, The House of Dancing Water, Carmen The Musical, Taboo, India and The Dai Show), as PSM for two tours of Fosse and ASM for Rock of Ages (Broadway and Off-Broadway). He has associate directed and production stage managed five shows (Broadway, DVD and Touring) for the international musical sensation, Il Divo.
He got his start working at Disneyland telling jokes aboard the world famous Jungle Cruise and also directing traffic in the parking lot.
